Review

This review applies to version 1.0 The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our informers.

Hellgate: London combines the depth of role-playing games and action of first-person titles, while offering infinite playability with randomly-created levels, items and events. The player creates a heroic character, completes quests and battles innumerable hordes of demons to advance through experience levels and branching skill paths. A robust, flexible skill and spell system, highly customizable appearances and a massive variety of randomly generated equipment allow players to create their own unique hero.
The game can be played in either third-person or first-person perspective. Melee classes default to a third-person view, whereas ranged classes default to a first-person view. Precision aiming is not required to use most weapons, which can track their targets, “lock-on”, or carpet an area with explosives. The game also contains sniper rifles and other weapons that require accurate manual aiming, most are exclusive to the Hunter faction. The graphics are great, the action never stops, and it is very easy to find action in the game from the first level. I really recommend it.
Advantages
  • Great Graphics, awesome weapons and races, highly customizable
Disadvantages
  • Can not be played via LAN
